Somerby Festival of Walking

4.5 miles (approx 2 hours walking)

Departing from Somerby Memorial Hall Car Park, we will follow Newbold Lane and cross the ford onto the green lane then taking the footpath to the left leading us towards Owston.  From Owston we will take the Leicestershire Round bridlepath back to Somerby.

There are no stiles on this route. Well behaved dogs are welcome.  There will be mud - please dress accordingly!

The First Thursday coffee morning at Somerby Memorial Hall will be waiting for us when we get back, serving excellent coffee and the first cake of 2026!

The walk is free of charge but please bring cash if you will be joining us for coffee and cake (proceeds to Somerby Church and Somerby Memorial Hall).
